Our basket shop is just one of 'Jackson River Enterprises' departments. Jackson River Enterprises is an employment services organization in Covington, Virginia. We employ over 60 adults with disabilities that range from mental, emotional and physical challenges. JRE has been in operation for 45 years and has been making baskets for over 25 years.
Handmade in the U.S.A.
All our baskets are handmade by our employees. All the steps - from designing the pattern, cutting out the basket bottoms and the handles - to weaving and finishing the baskets, are done in our facility in Covington in the Alleghany Highlands region of Virginia.

For wholesale orders, you must have and submit a copy of a current business license. Wholesale purchases must be made in lots of 3 or more per basket.
